This Saturday we will be hosting a challenge initiated by James Fitzgerald, aka OPT. A bad ass athlete, coach, and from what I've noticed human being. It's $5 to participate and all funds will go to help athletes who do not have the means to pay their own expenses when traveling and competing. Those of you know that it's not cheap. HERE is the link to read more and sign up/ donate. This will be our 9am class, so if you're not participating, you can come at 8am for the day's wod. Those of you who like to drink Friday night, save it! We will all go to La Hacienda after the wod and have lunch and tequilla:)

You all know I'm a geek, but I'm also a liar. Well, to a certain degree. I constantly tell you we want to move the barbell in a straight line. However, this is false. Watch the geeked out clip below. It's the truth of barbell movement during the clean and the snatch once the barbell leaves the ground. If you prefer me to make it this complicated in class, I am all for it. OR if you prefer I keep the lingo simple, I'll keep lying. LOL
